Present study comprised of 16 phytoplankton samples during Bioremedial Project conducted after 1.5 years of Tasman Spirit Oil Spill. Results showed that genera Rhizosolenia and Guinardia evidenced structural deformity. The present condition of cells clearly indicates the deleterious effects of crude oil on physiology of diatom species.
